Heart’s Content Apothecary

A small-batch apothecary botanical skincare line, made by modern herbalist Leslie Bish in Round Top, NY.

We worked with Leslie to create a dedicated online shop for her growing business that was ready to stop selling only on other peoples’ platforms. For the initial design, we built off of two playfully incongruous design inspirations: “vintage botanist library” and “funky 70’s floral” to create a site that honored the warm and organic nature of her work while differentiating her from other more “crunchy” herbalists and speaking to her core audience.

In addition to an integrated online shop, we created a modern blog for Leslie as a place to connect with and educate her ever-growing following (and help convert instagram followers into dedicated customers.)

After one year, the business had grown, so Heart’s Content returned to us with new hand-drawn illustrations and branding. We brought these illustrations online and refreshed her website to integrate and feature the new designs and carry her though this next season of growth!
